Thank you and come again.
Martintown, a pioneer village founded in 1784, is located east of Cornwall and shares a border with Williamstown where Canada's oldest annual fair takes place every August (since 1811).
Our century home rests on a half acre lot facing the Raisin River, on which there is a canoe race every spring. If you come see the race, you will also have the opportunity to visit the historic Grist Mill built in 1846.
Our 79-year young neighbour, Onagh Ross, sells used books. Onagh's Book Nook proceeds go to local charities. While you are in the area, you can also stop by the Beautyrock Farm to pick your own strawberries or raspberries, if the timing is right. You could also stop by the St. Raphael's Ruins or any of the numerous historical sites in the area.
